The classic reorder patterns
Three sequences solve most real cases. Reversed scan: "N,N-1,…,1" flips a document fed in backwards. Interleave: alternate front-pages and back-pages to reunite double-sided sheets from a single-sided scanner. Signature-to-back: move a signing page from the middle to the end, listing everything else in place. After reordering, add page numbers if the document will be printed — the visible numbers then match the new order.
